The main fire dragon movie shoots were in the Harry Potter and The Goblet of Fire, where Harry Potter has to go and get the golden egg to fine the next clue, so he can continue on to the next stage in the tri wizard tournament.

Young wizard Harry Potter and friends were only allowed a magic wand to do battle with the fire breathing Chinese Fireball dragon and Hungarian Horntail in the old medieval stadium.

First out after the cannon fire holding merely a wizards magic wand was Cedric Diggory getting the Swedish Short-Snout dragon, next Bulgarian wizard Viktor Krum had the Chinese Fireball dragon to battle.
With his Harry's magicians wand he call the flying broomstick, taking to the air and flying out of the tri wizard tournament arena on towards the grounds of Hogwarts castle, there he losses the magic broom stick on the slate steeple tower and the Hungarian Horntail dragon slides down the Hogwarts castle turret tiles.

After regaining the nimbus 2000 broomstick predecessor fire-bolt broomstick Hogwarts wizarding world's fastest broom, the large Hungarian Horntail dragon fly's after Mr. Potter and crashers into a stone bridge walkway.

Once this little brave magical wizard Harry Potter is safe, he jets back to the tri-wizard tournament arena and collects the Hungarian Horntail dragons golden egg from the rocks.
Just the same as the Quidditch world champion Viktor Krum did with his Chinese Fireball dragon egg.
